…Charges NFF On Grassroots Development

According to the former Gent of Belgium goal-machine: “for me, to be honest I have seen lots of talents in this team already. If an U-15 player can shoot from outside the box, and scoring two goals from those strikes it shows the level of talents and intelligent players we have in this team especially with their coordination.
“I believe most of my peers came from this youths program, and if Nigeria football federation can continue with grassroots football development, more talents abound in the nearest future,” he opined.
The Liverpool loanee, who had a great season with Royal Mouscron of Belgium shed more lights on what informed his mind of good nature to the lads.
“for me, it’s not about the token I gave them but I realized this is my root. I want them to believe in themselves that if I can make it as a professional footballer, they can also achieve it as well; basically the gesture is for them to learn the act of root remembrances should any of them gets to the top,” he explained to Maxinews24.com.
Taiwo Awoniyi, the former golden eaglets striker however urged the Nigeria U-15 boys to fight for their dreams as they intensify preparations for the forthcoming Japan invitational tourney next week.
